Na 58. Međunarodnom sajmu knjiga u Beogradu stručni žiri ULUPUDS-a i Beogradskog sajma odabrao je najbolju foto-monografiju na Sajmu knjiga 2013. godine i dodelio nagradu Dragoljubu Zamuroviću za foto-monografiju „Moj Beograd“. Jednoglasnu odluku je doneo žiri čiji je predsednik David Vartabedijan, član slikarsko-grafičke sekcije ULUPUDS-a, i članovi Svetlana Jovičić iz Sekcije za teoriju, kritiku i istoriju primenjene umetnosti i Vukica Mikača iz Sekcije umetničke fotografije. „Dok Zamurović radi i pravi ovakva dela mi imamo lak zadatak pošto je ubedljivo najbolji“, istakla je Vukica Mikača.

„Žiri je jednoglasno odlučio da se ova monografija nagradi, zbog jedinstvenog pristupa, sklada i poštovanja svih vrsta umetnosti koje su sublimirane u vrhunski zapis sa terena. Ovo je Beograd koji niko do sada nije video, zato smo veoma zahvalni ovom umetniku. Žiri se ni u jednom trenutku nije dvoumio“, rekla je Svetlana Jovičić. Dragoljub Zamurović je zahvalio žiriju i svim prisutnima koji su ulepšali sam čin dodele nagrada i toplo preporučio svima da pogledaju foto-monografiju i uživaju u Beogradu koji do sada nisu videli.

The exhibition was officially opened last night by HRH Princess Katarina Karadjordjević De Silva.  HE Mr Ognjen Pribićević Ambassador of Serbia was presented to the Serbian community for the first time, just after a few days from his arrival as Ambassador to the UK, and it was his first appearance where he addressed the Serbian audience. The third speaker was Andrew Ward from MPR Network, PR representative of the Serbia Tourism’s. He talked passionately about Serbia and its marvellous geographical wonders, about Belgrade, history and tradition and possibilities to travel and visit places which left deep impression on him and his guests’ colleagues journalists. Serbia Tourism supported the exhibition partly and provided information material which was collected by the visitors with a great interest. Many people expressed their wish to visit Serbia and to travel to this places which Dragoljub Zamurovic presented so attractively on his photographs.

Among the other distinguished guests were HE Mr Mujezinovic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina with Mrs Mujezinovic, admiring artistic skills of Zamurovic.  Also, Mr Jamshed Safarov, The First Chancellor at the Uzbekistan Embassy, Mrs Vladica Delic, Chair of the Serbian Society, Rev. Milun Kostic, our former head of St Sava Church in London and now retired but very actively supports the Serbian events. Among the guests were Mrs  Sanja Stefanovic, a pianist and Mr Darko Djordjevic, tenor from the National Theatre in Belgrade, who will perform at the  BISER concert today at the University Women’s Club in Mayfair, in Pro Art & CO organisation, Horatio Morgan and Patricia Licht from LBHF Cavsa, Community Organisations Network, many musicians and people from arts and cultural fields.

This is a major exhibition showing 50 selected photographs by Dragoljub Zamurović exposed at the most appropriate place in London, the Royal Geographical Society. The organiser was Vesna Petković from Pro Art &Co. Once again Pro Art & CO presented the beauty and exclusivity of Serbia, its landscapes, traditional life, the nature and of course, its people. The photographs are for sale, signed digi-graphics printed in limited edition of 10 images.

Introduction: Vesna Petkovic
